I was very pleased to attend the ordination of former mathematics teacher Michael Graham at Bristol Cathedral on Saturday 1st July 2017.

The service was conducted by the Rt Revd Lee Rayfield, Bishop of Swindon, and the preacher was the Revd Canon Richard White, Canon of Liverpool Cathedral.

Many Colstonians will remember Mike not only as a maths teacher at Colston's but for some time as head of sixth form and then director of studies and also as the school's chaplain. Since retiring Mike has acted as a lay minister near his home in Wiltshire and will now be Assistant Curate in the benefice of Woodbridge in Wiltshire.
