Moger served on the Board of Governors of Colston's School from 1993 until 2007 and contributed greatly to the school’s development in that time.
Moger's son, Andrew, was a pupil at Colston's School from 1976-1981 and his wife Gillian was Chair of Governors at The Collegiate School, Winterbourne at the time of the merger with Colston's School.
Moger was a successful businessman here in Bristol: after graduating from Bristol University he joined ES&A Robinson in Bristol as a worker in the lab and rose through the managerial ranks to become Chief Executive of the Dickenson Robinson Group (at the time a FTSE 100 Company).
Since his retirement from DRG he has been Chairman of Council of Bristol University, non-Executive Director and Chair of 8 businesses and an acute hospital trust. He was a Deputy Lieutenant of Gloucestershire, has been High Sheriff of Gloucestershire and Master of the Merchant Venturers, and Chair of BRACE, a very successful local charity for research into Alzheimer’s and Care of the Elderly.
Moger was also a very successful sportsman at rugby, hockey and cricket and regularly represented tthe Master of the Society of Merchant Venturers' XI in the annual fixture against the School 1st XI.
Our thoughts and condolences are with his family at this difficult time.
