OC Society events |
The annual Old Colstonian Society mixed sports day was enjoyed by a good number of young Colstonians and Old Colstonians. It was also pleasing to see other young OCs returning to Colston's to encourage their friends performing on the rugby and hockey pitches.
There were winners and losers but above all everyone had a lot of fun in the mixed touch rugby competition and the hockey match.
Old Colstonian president Bob Jennings presented the winning teams with trophies in memory of Old Colstonian Jim Tolman.
Thanks to Julia and Justin for providing teas and cakes and Helen for running the bar throughout the afternoon. Well done to a number of young OCs who took on responsibility for organising events and supporting Mr Kaye and Mr Banning in making sure that the afternoon ran smoothly and that eveyone enjoyed themselves.
