On the evening of March 21st, the school hosted its much-loved Annual Curry and Quiz Night, welcoming parents and OCs for an unforgettable evening of fun, food and friendly competition. The evening also supported  Charlton Farm, part of Childrens Hopsice South West.

The event was a feast for the senses and minds alike. The tantalizing aroma of curry set the stage, while challenging quiz questions kept everyone on their toes. Teams were formed, laughter rang out, and an infectious spirit of camaraderie filled the room as participants battled through trivia rounds and savored delicious dishes.

Adding to the excitement, Mr McCullough and Mr Edwards took on the role of quiz masters, keeping everyone entertained and ensuring the event ran smoothly.

This year, the event coincided with World Poetry Day, inspiring a poetic recap that perfectly encapsulates the vibrant atmosphere:

The curry was hot, the quiz was bold, OCs and Parents, young and old. Sweaty brows and spicy delight, Battled questions well into the night.

They argued on answers, they laughed through the spice, Curry and quizzes—a combo so nice! Triumphant cheers and humorous debates, A night that will linger in memory's gates.

The night wasn’t short on drama, either. Quizteam Aguilera looked set to take the number one spot throughout much of the quiz, but in a nail-biting finish, Lucky 7 swooped in to claim the top prize, while F Troop rounded out the podium with a solid bronze finish. The lively competition only added to the electric atmosphere of the evening.

We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us, as well as to the Parents' Society and in particular Carla Attwood, Chair of the Parents' Society, who worked tirelessly to make the night a resounding success.
