OCs Valentine's Ball

On the 17th of February, Old Colstonians RFC hosted a Valentines Black Tie Dinner.

As much as a celebration for the club's success in recent years with league titles and promotions, the dinner was cause to thank the partners of the members for the sacrifices they make to allow our players to give up their Saturdays to play for the club week in, week out.

The event took place at the Gloucestershire County Cricket Ground in Bishopston. This provided the perfect backdrop and hospitality to host a three course meal, raffle prizes, drinks and dancing throughout the evening.

The raffle draw was a mixture of excitement for the prizes, and laughter courtesy of club captain, Josh Grant, as he entertained the guests with his stories and comedic flare.

The generosity from our members came to show through some exceptional prizes on offer, including; tickets to Bristol Bears matches, vouchers to the Ivy in Clifton and Pasture respectively, a weekend away in an AirBnB and many more.

The proceeds from the evening will be gratefully received as they will go towards the refurbishment of the clubhouse and other essential facilities that the club really needs.

We would like to thank all of our attendees, the staff at Gloucestershire County Cricket Club and all the raffle prize donors for making this an unforgettable evening.

The committee will certainly be hosting a similar event next year.
