After degrees at Coventry & Cranfield Universities I relocated to the US to work for the Auto Reasearch Center in Indianapolis. That is where I left off in my last note to Cribsheet some years ago. My time at ARC culminated in working on the early development of the Ford GT that won LeMans (GT class) in 2016.

In 2015 I moved to Detroit to work for Ford. This time in production car aerodynamics rather than racing. During 4 years at Ford I completed 2 vehicle programs both successfully meeting their aerodynamic targets. Both products have yet to be announced, but one in particular is set to make a splash.

At the end of 2018 I was invited to join a small but growing startup car company called Rivian. An exciting company developing a full electric pickup truck and SUV with really quite astonishing performance figures. In the space of a few short months the team has introduced the R1T and R1S products to the world and is now striving to bring them to production at the end of 2020.

Below is a video link showing yours truly expalining some of the aerodynamic development work that goes into bringing such a vehicle to market.

And yes this product will be available in the UK.
