Following his successful Great North Swim on Lake Windermere earlier in the summer former Colston's teacher Darren Wall recently completed the Great Scottish Swim on Loch Lomond.

Darren writes:

"It was an amazing weekend and the swim went really well - even though the water was only 15 degrees, the water was calm. I completed the 3 mile course in just over an hour which was a huge improvement on my Lake Windermere swim earlier this year. Approximately 400 people swam in my heat so I was pleased to finish in the first half of the group. Many thanks again to the Old Colstonians for their very kind and generous sponsorship towards my challenge. I managed to raise over £1000 for Macmillan Cancer."
