We are delighted to welcome Dana McKee (née Drake) as our new Alumni Relations Manager! Dana's journey from pupil to teacher and now alumni manager at Collegiate School makes her an invaluable member of our community.

Here’s a message from Dana herself:

“Hello, OCs!

For those of you who don't know me or haven't been in touch for a while, here's a bit about my journey:

I first joined Collegiate School in 1988 in Winterbourne, and after its closure, returned to Colston’s School in 1996 into Year 6 (L4P). I was blessed to have had a wonderful experience at school, due to a great group of friends and fabulous staff, and it was an honor to be Head Girl of the Class of 2003. After studying Psychology at the University of Warwick, I served in the Army at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst. Though I didn't commission due to an injury, the experience was unforgettable. My adventures took me to Mexico to teach English, and eventually, back to Collegiate, where I taught PE and Drama until 2013, when I left to focus on my family. My husband, Marc, and I live with our daughters, Kirianna (11) and Zeniah (6). Zeniah has a rare genetic condition, so her health has certainly kept us on our toes, but she has also filled our lives with immense joy, and love.

My journey now brings me back home to Collegiate as your Alumni Relations Manager.

I am looking forward to celebrating lots of OC stories from our incredible alumni community - so do get in touch to share yours. It would be so helpful to me if you could add your career information to your profile on the OCs Connected website (and even a photo so I can put a face to your name)! I can't wait to learn more about you all.

I am eager to continue your wonderful annual events, such as the OC Gala in October, and wish to add some new events into the Connections Calendar as well. Do make sure to like and follow our OC Society Facebook page:

It's a great way to stay in the loop!

This role means the world to me, and I am excited to reconnect and strengthen our OC community.”

Dana's profound connection to our school and her enthusiasm for strengthening alumni relations bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas and we look forward to all that she has planned.

Please join me in welcoming her back to the family.

President of the OC Society
