Despite the slightly ominous date of Friday 13th, we were delighted to continue the annual tradition started last year under immediate OC Past President, Len Collacott, in welcoming our newest OC Society members to a social evening with free drinks in the OC Pavilion.
Current OC President, Vishal Balasingham, was delighted to welcome back so many recent school leavers, as well as many of the school staff who were able to enjoy a well-deserved night to unwind and relax at the end of a long school term. It was fantastic to see the Pavilion full to the brim and hear the hum of animated chatter and laughter as old friends renewed their school friendships.
Of course, as we all know, it doesn’t stop there for our newest OCs. They have a superb opportunity to come along to our OC Dinner with a ticket discount in 2025 and were actively encouraged to keep involved with the OC Society as much as possible.
Special thanks must go to Matt Leek who ran a very busy bar, and The OC Society was further represented by Past Presidents Len Collacott and Simon Quinn.
Rest assured, this is one fixture that has quickly established itself in the annual calendar!
Finally, to all OCs and the wider school community, let us also take this opportunity to wish you all a happy new year and we look forward to seeing as many of you as possible in 2025.
