We recently heard from Matthew Gregory, (OC,2022) who is training to be a vet.
Matthew says "After completing second year at the Royal Veterinary College studying Veterinary Medicine, I had the opportunity to work with a group of wildlife vets and conservationists over a 5-week period in South Africa. We worked with a wide range of incredible species where each case presented new and thought-provoking challenges, for example saving wildlife caught in snares or resolving episodes of conflict between wildlife and local communities. This was an incredibly insightful experience and reminded me of the incredible challenges facing the conservation of our wildlife.
A veterinary career provides incredibly exciting and diverse opportunities, and I would love to chat with Collegiate students if they are interested following this path."
If you are interested in getting in touch with Matthew, please do so either by connnecting on Colston's Connected, or by emailing alumni@collegiate.org.uk and we will put you in touch.
