We were sad to hear that a former OC, John Patch who was at Colston's from 1941 - 1947 has recently passed away.

John was house captain and captain of both Rugby and Cricket teams whilst at school. He went on to enjoy a career in the drinks industry.

He spent many a happy time on the fairways and was an accomplished golfer. In johns words " To all those golfers I beat... HaHa! and to all those to whom i lost, lets have a rematch; I know a heavenly golf course"

John passed away on August 6th 2020 after a very short illness. He was very loved by all his dear family and will be greatly missed.

Our thoughts are with his family and friends and we thank his son Bob for letting us know.
