We have had some sad news from John Ashley OC he has ask us to share.

“Capt Laurence Whitby James, my dear friend and school English teacher at Colston’s in the 1950s, died peacefully in his care home in Birmingham at 9.30pm last night, Easter Monday."

Our thoughts are with his daughter Mary Kennedy and family and friends.
