OC Events |
We had a great event at The Ship Inn in Wandsworth on Monday 20th March, hosting both OCs and those parents who were up in London to support their children who were playing at Rosslyn Park. There were so many in attendance for this inaugural outing to the pub that we had to move from our original space into the bar area!
We were delighted that Andrew Phillips and Jack Dempsey from the London Society were able to join us and we had a lovely time catching up on London OC news with them. The London Society are very much looking forward to organising some events in and around London over the coming months so please do watch this space.
Jeremy McCullough, Head, and Len Collacott, President of the OCs, both said a few words to welcome everyone and then everyone mingled and chatted and before we knew it several hours had passed! The drinks and canapés certainly went down a treat and there was a really convivial atmosphere in South West London. As Jack said...on a school night too!
A big thank you to all those who attended and who made the evening such a success and special mention to Rhys Gwilliam, Director of Sport, for an excellent recommendation in The Ship.
